BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

MINUTES

APRIL 15, 2024 - 5:00 P.M.

CITY HALL COUNCIL ROOM
 
The Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors met on April 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Room, 1801 9th Avenue North, in Texas City, Texas. A quorum having been met, the meeting was called to order at 5:04 p.m. by Mark Lyon with the following in attendance:

  • Dennis Harris, Recreation and Tourism Director
  • Nicole Best, City Staff
  • Rhomari Leigh, Board Secretary
  • George Fuller, City Staff
  • Renee Edgar, City Staff

Elias Ramirez requested to address the Board.

Consider and take action on minutes from the October 17, 2023, Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. meeting.

Motion by Director John Branstetter, Seconded by Director Katina Gilmore with an amendment to item 2. d.

Vote: 3 - 0 CARRIED

Consider and take action on Resolution No. 2024-01, approval of 2024 grant request submitted by LULAC Council 225.

UPDATES

Nicole Best, Recreation Superintendent, gave a brief summary of the 2024 Art Festival.

Having no further business, Mark Lyon made a MOTION to ADJOURN at 5:17 p.m. The motion was SECONDED by John Branstetter. The meeting was adjourned.
