ACTION REQUEST
That the City of Texas City submit the attached Ballot in the 2025 Board Election for Galveston Central Appraisal District.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The City of Texas City is eligible to cast 221 votes in the 2025 Board of Directors Election for the Galveston Central Appraisal District. The Galveston Central Appraisal District Board is made of five (5) appointed members. All votes may be cast for one (1) candidate or distributed among the candidates listed on the ballot. Please note that all Ballots and Resolutions must be submitted to the office of the appraisal district before December 15th, 2024. According to the Property Tax Code, any ballots turned in on or after that date will have not been received in a timely manner.
RECOMMENDATION
That the City of Texas City submits the attached ballot in the 2025 Board Election for the Galveston Central Appraisal District.
