ACTION REQUEST
Approval is requested for the purchase of one Toro Greenmaster 3250-D Tee Mower for the Bayou Golf Course. This acquisition will replace the existing 2013 Toro 3150-Q, which has been in service for 11 years. This will be purchased using a Buy Board Contract No. 706-23: Toro Greenmaster 3250-D for the amount of $52,666.59 Funds for the mower are budgeted in Account No. 602-403-5520
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The Bayou Golf Course is seeking approval to purchase a new tee mower specifically for maintaining the course’s tees, which span approximately 3.5 acres. This mower will be used at least three times a week to ensure the tees are kept in optimal condition. This will replace the aging 2013 Toro mower with the new Toro Greenmaster 3250-D.  The existing mower will be retained as a backup, providing additional reliability and ensuring continuous, uninterrupted maintenance operations.
RECOMMENDATION
The Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department recommends that the Mayor and City Commission approve this purchase to support Bayou Golf Course’s maintenance needs effectively.
