ACTION REQUEST
Approve the purchase and delivery of a 2024 F450 box truck for Recreation and Tourism.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
This purchase would come from Chastang Ford in Houston, Texas via BuyBoard contract # 724-23 for the total purchase price of $75,998.00, and would replace our current 2009 F350 box truck. This purchase was a carry over from 2022 / 2023 and funds are made available in the 2023 / 2024 annual budget.  A copy of the quote is attached for your review.
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Work Department and the Recreation and Tourism Department that the purchase of the 2024 F450 box truck be approved for the total purchase price of $75,998.00 from Chastang Ford via BuyBoard Contract # 724-23. Thank you.
