TEXAS CITY CULTURAL ARTS FOUNDATION, INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES APRIL 15, 2024 - 5:00 P.M. CITY HALL COUNCIL ROOM
The Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors met on April 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Room, 1801 9th Avenue North, in Texas City, Texas. A quorum having been met, the meeting was called to order at 5:04 p.m. by Mark Lyon with the following in attendance:

(1)				ROLL CALL
Present: Katina Gilmore, Director   John Branstetter, Director   Mark Lyon, Vice-Chairperson   Absent: Dayna Perren, Chairperson   Staneisha Lee, Director   Ryan McClellen, Treasurer / Ex-Officio Member Staff Present: Dennis Harris, Recreation and Tourism Director Nicole Best, City Staff Rhomari Leigh, Board Secretary George Fuller, City Staff Renee Edgar, City Staff
(2)				PUBLIC COMMENTS Elias Ramirez requested to address the Board.
(3)				NEW BUSINESS
	(a)			Consider and take action on minutes from the October 17, 2023, Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. meeting.

				Motion by Director John Branstetter, Seconded by Director Katina Gilmore with an amendment to item 2. d.

				Vote: 3 - 0 CARRIED
	(b)			Consider and take action on Resolution No. 2024-01, approval of 2024 grant request submitted by LULAC Council 225.

				Motion by Director Katina Gilmore, Seconded by Director John Branstetter

				Vote: 3 - 0 CARRIED
(4)				UPDATES Nicole Best, Recreation Superintendent, gave a brief summary of the 2024 Art Festival.
(5)				ADJOURN
