ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Review applicants and select recipients for the 2024 Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. Scholarships.
BACKGROUND
The Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation Scholarship Program 2024 sponsors a $1,000.00 scholarship for deserving high school graduates who plan to pursue advanced education in the performing and visual arts, creative writing, architecture, photography, graphics, crafts, sculpture, etc. The Foundation will award scholarships to individuals graduating from Texas City High School, La Marque High School, and Dickinson High School. The application must be submitted on or before April 22, 2024, to the City of Texas City's Recreation Superintendent who will deliver it to the Chairperson of the Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation. The Foundation Review Committee will evaluate the applications. Listed below are the names of the applicants: Max Pickett - Texas City High School Myesha Owens - La Marque High School  Roddrick Woods - La Marque High School  Janeese Castille - Texas City High School
