ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)

BACKGROUND

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Commission of Texas City will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Kenneth T. Nunn Room at City Hall, 1801 9^th Avenue North, Texas City, Texas.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear citizens’ opinions in favor of or in opposition to the City of Texas City’s proposed 2024/2025 Fiscal Year Budget, beginning October 1, 2024 and ending September 30, 2025.

Any citizen wishing to voice his/her opinion in favor of or in opposition to the City’s proposed 2024/2025 Fiscal Year Budget is invited to be present and will be heard. Written comments will be accepted and considered on or before the date of the Public Hearing. A copy of the proposed budget is available for viewing on the City’s website at www.texascitytx.gov and at City Hall.
