Information ACTION REQUEST Consider approving the replacement of three old air conditioning units in the library. BACKGROUND (Brief Summary) There are three very old air conditioning units in the library that are in need of replacement. The library director discussed this with the Mayor at a budget meeting in June, and the funds for these units were included in the library budget for FY 2025. The company, Gowan-Garrett Inc., has a cooperative purchasing agreement (Choice Partners contract #22/049MF-10) and has done considerable work for the City of Texas City.  RECOMMENDATION I recommend that all three of the aging air conditioning units are replaced.
