BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
Kietyn and Kody will be covering housing services offered by HRDC District 7 in five counties. This includes the Emergency Services offered to individuals facing homelessness or a housing crisis. Through the Emergency Solutions Grant, HRDC District 7 offers rapid-rehousing to unhoused individuals and Homeless Prevention for families or individuals facing home eviction. For younger people aged 16-24, they have the Harmony House and Transition in Place where clients have a safe, temporary place to live while they work to reach self-sufficiency. This is offered to teenagers and young adults who are pregnant or actively parenting. They will also briefly go over our Family Forward Program and what their Child Care Department does to help families find and afford child care.
