RECOMMENDATION
Dick Zier, SBURA Consultant, will update Council on SBURA Board's discussions about moving forward with a recreation center.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
In November of 2023, voters denied passage of a Parks Bond that would have provided significant funding toward a Multi-Generational Recreation Center in the South Billings Boulevard Urban Renewal District (SBBURD), along with several other projects. The SBURA Board has continued seeking options to move forward with a recreation project. Mr. Zier will report on the SBURA Board's behalf and encourage open dialogue with Council.
