RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council award a contract for base bid for Castelrock Restroom Renovations to Wovek Inc DBA Yellowstone Basin Construction for the amount of $247,596.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The funding for this project was approved in the Parks FY24 CIP.
This project is intended to renovate the existing 600 SF restrooms. Renovations are to include new epoxy floor treatment, wall mounted fixtures, ADA-compliant stalls for men's and women's sides, ventilation, ceiling, and exterior upgrades.
Project bids were opened on July 2, 2024.

City Council may approve the bid from Yellowstone Basin Construction, or reject all bids and not approve.
FISCAL EFFECTS
The following bids were received:
1. Wovek Inc DBA Yellowstone Basin Construction - $277,422.
2. T.W. Ridley - $287,300.
As Yellowstone Basin Construction was the lowest bid, the bid exceeded the initial construction estimate by the consultant. Value engineering concessions were made to lower the primary bid estimate to $247,596.
Parks FY24 CIP designated $981,000.00 for "Castlerock Park North Parking Lot & Restroom" repairs. The remaining $347,096 is allocated for adding lighting to the parking lot and landscaping both the parking lot and the area around the restroom.
