RECOMMENDATION
Council determine if the DRAFT priorities are ready for adoption or require changes. If changes are needed, provide direction so that the document can be adopted in October.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
There are four attachments:
1) The adopted goals and priorities from May 2022.
2) Notes from the March 15 and 16 retreat.
3) The DRAFT Strategic Plan for 2025-2030 (notice this is an extension beyond two years since we have both short and long term goals and objectives).

ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Confirm that the DRAFT is ready for adoption; or
- Make changes to get the document ready for adoption; or
- Provide other direction.
FISCAL EFFECTS
There is no direct fiscal effect to adopting the Strategic Plan. However, it greatly assists the organization to focus resources in alignment with the City Council's priorities. By adopting priorities in the fall, we can use them in developing the FY 2026 budget.
