RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the donation to the Billings Public Library.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Billings Public Library has received two private donations: $1,000 from David and Nancy Myers and $500 from Ellen Knight, designated for the purchase of library books. The Friends of the Library have also contributed $3,555 for specific programs at the library. Staff recommends City Council formally accept the donations. Acceptance has no fiscal impact on the City budget and supports enhancement of the Library’s collection and programming.
