PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Bids were received for W.O. 10-16, 32nd Street West Two-Way Left-Turn Lane on August 30, 2011. The project includes re-signing and re-striping the street to include new bicycle lanes and a two-way left-turn lane on 32nd Street West from King Avenue West to Broadwater Avenue.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The Council may:
• Award W.O. 10-16 to HighMark Traffic Services, Inc. in the amount of $72,525.25; or
• Do not award contract for W.O. 10-16 to HighMark Traffic Services, Inc.
• Award W.O. 10-16 to HighMark Traffic Services, Inc. in the amount of $72,525.25; or
• Do not award contract for W.O. 10-16 to HighMark Traffic Services, Inc.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Three bids were received for this project as follows:
Funding for this project is from gas tax and it is included the FY 12 budget.

RECOMMENDATION
