PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Mutual Aid Agreements are necessary to establish methods, procedures, working relationships, and appropriate indemnification under which various fire departments are enabled to provide assistance to each other's jurisdictions during an emergency incident.
The Yellowstone County All Risk Mutual Aid Agreement was previously signed in 1997 and needed to be updated. The document has been updated and redrafted in a cooperative effort between all fire departments in Yellowstone County and their respective legal representatives.
Billings City Legal Department and the Yellowstone County Legal Department have conferred and reviewed this document and agree that the document is ready for circulation to all signatories for their respective signatures.
