PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
At the January 25, 2010, Council meeting, a Council initiative was unanimously approved to place the appointment of a representative to fill the vacancy on the League of Cities and Towns Legislative Committee on the February 8, 2010, agenda. An amended motion was unanimously approved to appoint Councilmember McCall as the representative.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may:
- Approve the appointment of Councilmember McCall; or
- Appoint another Councilmember to the position.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve the appointment of Councilmember McCall.
