This contract amendment to the professional services agreement with DOWL HKM for the SBURD Sewer Project is to increase the construction duration from 70 days to 110 days and increase construction administration and services compensation an additional $38,200.00 for a total compensation of $366,600.00. The added compensation will provide full-time construction inspection services and administration for the time needed to construct the project. This project  will construct approximately 4,500 lineal feet of sewer and repair 500 feet of waterline on the south side. COP Construction was awarded the contract on the May 27th Council meeting.

The Council may:

• Approve the Professional Services Contract Amendment #2 with DOWL HKM; or
• Do not approve the Professional Services Contract Amendment #2 with DOWL HKM. If the amendment is not approved, the project will not have construction services such as inspection and testing for 40 days.

This contract amendment is for $38,200.00 and brings the total professional services contract with DOWL HKM to $366,600.00. The funding for the project was budgeted in FY14 and the source is TIF District Funds for the sewer and Water Funds for the water.
