PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Resolution 13-19329, permitting the sale of property at 3510 7th Ave South, contains an incorrect legal description. In order to sell the property, the correct legal description needs to be recorded in a Council resolution and on an amended subdivision plat. The property was transferred to the City by the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) in 1998 in conjunction with an MDT project on State Avenue. The Public Works Department has no use for this property, and it would better serve the public as private property.

Council may:
- Approve the resolution; or
- Not approve the resolution;
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact to the City of Billings.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve the resolution that amends Resolution 13-19329 and corrects the legal description for property located at 3510 7th Avenue South.
