PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
To meet FHA provisions under the FAST-Act, the Montana Department of Transportation is asking the MPO’s to adopt and support the States adopted safety targets. Along with MDT’s safety targets, the Billings MPO has also adopted local safety performance targets through the Community Transportation Safety Plan. The Missoula and Great Falls MPO have also recently adopted the State’s safety targets. The actual targets are listed below in the table:
