W.O. 19-44: Shiloh Roundabouts Landscaping Project includes landscape modifications of six existing roundabouts in Shiloh Road. The roundabouts included in this scope are: Broadwater, Central, Monad, King, Knife River, and Hesper. The general scope for each roundabout includes: demolition, grading, layout, retaining wall construction, boulder placement, tree & shrub planting, mulch bed construction, weed fabric, and irrigation improvements.  The goal of the project is to reduce the amount of time required for maintenance of the roundabouts. The project was advertised May 17th and 24th, 2019, in the Yellowstone County News. Bids were opened on May 28th. There were two bids received and Good Earth Works submitted the lowest responsible bid.

City Council may:

• Award W.O. 19-44: Shiloh Roundabouts Landscaping Project to Good Earth Works, in the amount of $1,196,915.00; or
• Do not award a contract and reject all bids. If the contract is not awarded the landscape modifications of the six Shiloh Roundabouts cannot be completed.
