PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
W.O. 19-47: Centennial Park Irrigation Pump, is planned to install an irrigation pump at the Arnold Drain and the piping from the drain to Centennial Park for the irrigation system. The project was advertised on June 21st, June 28th, and July 5th, in the Yellowstone County News and on the City's website. Bids were opened on July 9th, 2019, and 3 bids were received. State law requires City Council to consider bids at the next Council meeting after opening bids. Staff needs more time to evaluate the bids to determine if this pump system is the best option for providing irrigation water to the park. An agenda item will be included on the August 26, 2019 council meeting with a bid recommendation. Staff is recommending that city council delay action on this item until that meeting.
