W.O. 19-47: Centennial Park Irrigation Pump, is planned to install an irrigation pump at the Arnold Drain and the piping from the drain to Centennial Park for the irrigation system. The project was advertised on June 21st, June 28th, and July 5th, in the Yellowstone County News and on the City's website. Bids were opened on July 9th, 2019, and 3 bids were received.  COP Construction, LLC submitted the lowest responsible bid.  

Staff requested more time to evaluate the bids and recommended council delay the bid award on the July 22nd council meeting until the August 12th council meeting. 

City Council may:

• Approve the construction contract for W.O. 19-47: Centennial Park Irrigation Pump to COP Construction, LLC, in the amount of $374,469, or;
• Do not approve the construction contract.  If the project is not constructed, Centennial Park will have to use city water to irrigate the park, which will be more expensive over time.
