PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
The Billings Fire Department is now in possession of newer CPR mannequins and would like to donate the outdated equipment to the Billings Career Center, which has an up and coming EMT program.
The donation would include 2 full-sized adult mannequins, 9 adult upper half mannequins, 10 adult torsos, 2 infant mannequins, 1 toddler mannequin and one CPR moulage kit.
The Career Center students will be able to put this equipment to use, rather than the BFD continuing to store the items, or destroying them and adding to the landfill.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may:
- Approve the donation of this equipment to the Billings Career Center, or;
- Disapprove the donation and the Fire Department will seek other means of disposal.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The original equipment was donated to the Fire Department by Billings Clinic. This donation to the Billings Career Center has no financial impact for the City.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council approve the donation of this equipment to the Billings Career Center.
