PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Exxon has donated 3,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline for use in public safety vehicles. The fuel will be delivered by Story Distributing on behalf of Exxon.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may:
- Approve, the donation of fuel from Exxon or;
- Disapprove the donation of fuel from Exxon
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The unleaded gasoline will offset fuel costs for public safety vehicles, thus lowering expenditures out of the public safety fund.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the donation of the fuel from Exxon.
