On 8/23/2010 City Council approved donations from five local agencies to support construction of an Incident Command System (ICS) Training Center, which will be housed in Billings Fire Station #1. 

Since that time, the Billings Fire Department received an additional donation from CHS Refinery, Laurel in the amount of $3,000 to be used for the ICS Lab construction.

 

Council may:

Approve the acceptance of the donation; or
Not approve the acceptance of the donation.

Financial impact to the City of Billings is negligible as this program is funded primarily by donations from outside private and public agencies.  CHS, Inc. Laurel Refinery is another partner in the project.

Staff recommends that the City Council accept the donation from CHS, Inc. Laurel Refinery in the amount of $3,000.00 for the Incident Command System Training Center.
