PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Yellowstone Country Club Homes Association is interested in developing Byron Nelson Park located at the northwest corner of 54th Street West and Bobby Jones Boulevard. After discussing the options with Parks, Recreation and Public Lands (PRPL), they have committed to funding the master plan portion of this project. PRPL has received the funds from the Yellowstone Country Club Homes Association in the amount of $25,350.00 and plans to proceed immediately with the master plan study.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The Council may:
- Accept the donation from the Yellowstone Country Club Homes Association; or
- Do not accept the donation.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There will be no financial impact to the City. The Yellowstone Country Club Homes Association donation will cover the master plan study costs.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends acceptance of this generous donation from the Yellowstone Country Club Homes Association.
