RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council approves the purchase of a pre-manufactured restroom for North Park from LB Foster for $209,410.00.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
On December 20, 2021, Council approved allocation of up to $1 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding and CDBG-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funding to the Parks and Recreation Department for various projects in city parks. One such project is to replace the existing aging restroom structure at North Park with a new pre-manufactured concrete facility. The total budget for this project is $264,720.00. Purchase of the restroom will be $209,410.00 from CXT Products (E.B. Foster). The remaining funds will be used for engineering, site work including preparing a building pad, utilities and an ADA accessible route to the restroom. Staff is seeking authority to purchase the restroom structure.
ALTERNATIVES

- Approve the purchase of a pre-manufactured restroom facility ; or,
- Not Approve and provide staff with additional guidance.
FISCAL EFFECTS
