RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council accepts these donations for a total of $2,000.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The Billings Parks and Recreation Department would like to recognize the following generous sponsors who have donated toward the Landon's Miracle Field Grand Opening. Even though the Grand Opening took place on August 17th, two checks, one from Bennett Bliss, Jason Bliss: GG and BBs Jams and Sauces for $1,000 and Scheels for $1,000 were written to Landon's Legacy Foundation who in turn wrote a single check to the City on August 24th.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve the donations; or,
- Not Approve the donations and provide staff additional guidance.
FISCAL EFFECTS
There will be no additional fiscal impacts to the City.
