PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT

Claims in the amount of $1,452,681.50 have been audited and are presented for your approval for payment.  A complete listing of the claims dated May 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010 is on file in the Municipal Court.  Claims include payments to individual victims and businesses for restitution, disbursement of surcharges and revenues and return of bonds posted to ensure court appearance.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED

The Council may:

  • Approve the payment of claims; or
  • Deny payment of claims

FINANCIAL IMPACT

None.

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that Council approve Payment of Claims.
