PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
W.O. 10-30 will construct a northbound right turn lane on 32nd Street West, south of Broadwater Avenue. In order to add the lane, additional right of way (ROW) is needed at the southeast corner of the intersection. Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church owns the property and has agreed to sell ROW to the City for the fair market value of the land. The total land to be deeded to the City is 113 square feet. The fair market value was determined to be $847.50.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The Council may:
• Approve the Right of Way agreement with Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church; or
• Do not approve the Right of Way agreement with Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church.
• Approve the Right of Way agreement with Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church; or
• Do not approve the Right of Way agreement with Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The cost of the right of way was determined to be $847.50. The project is being funded from arterial funds.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Council approve the Right of Way agreement with Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church in the amount of $847.50.
