RECOMMENDATION
Determine if Council wants to schedule a special work session, outside our normal calendared Monday evenings, to continue our land use discussions.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
It has been difficult to find time for our next installment of Overview of Land Use Processes work session discussion. Therefore, we want to know if the council would set aside a different time and day of the week to focus on land use issues? Can we schedule the meeting for a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday? Maybe it would be better in the morning or early afternoon rather than evening?
The City Council had a first Work Session to learn about and discuss Land Use Processes on April 18, 2022. Staff would like to schedule a special meeting to focus on the next installment of an overview of land use process, so that there is ample time to both complete the initial overview presentation and follow up on some of the questions and issues the Council indicated to staff it wanted to learn more about at the first April session. We are asking Council to provide feedback on a meeting date for a special meeting.
