RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that City Council approve and award a contract for hail damage repairs at the Billings Public Library to Progressive Building Systems, LTD., for $189,900.00
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The Billings Public Library, located at 510 N Broadway, sustained significant hail-related damage in August 2019. This project includes the removal and replacement of the exterior perforated scrim material on north and south elevations.
The project was advertised on 06/16/2023 and 06/23/2023 in Yellowstone County News and on the City's website.
Bids were opened on 07/18/2023, and two bids were received with Progressive Building Systems being the lowest responsible bidder.
