RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council acknowledge the Amended Yellowstone Meadows - Phase Three exempt plat.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The attached Amended Yellowstone Meadows - Phase Three exempt plat creates a utility site on which the pump station planned under W.O. 23-12 can be constructed. Creating a utility site is exempt from subdivision review pursuant to MCA 76-3-201(1)(h) and is created for the benefit of the City. The exempt plat has been reviewed and approved by City staff and meets the requirements of the exempt plat process outlined in the Montana Subdivision and Platting Act. These documents are appropriate as to form for filing with the Clerk and Recorder.
W.O. 23-12 is a project to design and construct a new pump station for Zone 4 and waterlines for Zones 3 and 4. The improvements will provide resiliency in Zone 4 and increase efficiency at the Chapple pump station. The new waterline will connect the 20-inch main in Grand Avenue to the 20-inch main in Rimrock Road. The pump station will be located between Rimrock Road and Colton Boulevard along the new water pipeline adjacent to 58th Street West.
