RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the donations to the Billings Public Library.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The Billings Public Library has received a distribution of $500 from the Billings Library Foundation. This is an annual donation for the Montana Room. The Library has also received $750 from the American Indian Library Association earmarked for the Talk Story, Sharing Stories, Sharing Culture program.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve the donations; or,
- Not Approve the donations
FISCAL EFFECTS
There is no budgetary impact.
