BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) will give its annual presentation to the Planning Board. BPAC is composed of 7 volunteer members, 3 appointed by the County, 3 appointed by the City, and 1 appointed by the Planning Board. The purpose of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is to advise the City Council, Mayor, County Commissioners, Planning Board, and all departments and boards of the City and County with regard to non-motorized transportation matters. The presentation will cover what BPAC does, trail and bikeway counts, achievements in the past year, and considerations for moving forward.
