Bids were received for W.O. 09-11 Rimrock Road, 17th to Forsythia, on April 26, 2011. The project will include street reconstruction with turn lanes, pavement overlay, curb/gutter, sidewalk, drive approaches, street lighting, and water/sewer/storm improvements along Rimrock Road from 17th Street West to Forsythia Boulevard.

The Council may:

• Award the construction contract for W.O. 09-11 Rimrock Road, 17th to Forsythia, to Knife River-Billings in the amount of $3,550,131.55; or
• Reject all bids and do not award a construction contract for W.O. 09-11. 

The City received four (4) bids for this project.  The engineer's estimate is $4,208,192.10.  The bids were as follows:

Staff recommends that Council award the contract for Work Order 09-11 Rimrock Road, 17th to Forsythia, to Knife River - Billings in the amount of $3,550,131.55.
