RECOMMENDATION
Council will consider the proposed initiative (see attached).
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The City of Billings owns 4 buildings that are leased to various organizations, all of which are in need of varying degrees of maintenance. The City does not have a maintenance plan or identified funding source to care for these significant and sometimes historical buildings.
STAKEHOLDERS
The Lessors of the buildings and the general public.

City Council may:
- Approve; or,
- Not Approve
FISCAL EFFECTS
No fiscal effects have been identified other than City staff time.
SUMMARY
The 4 City buildings need options for the City to address long-term maintenance. The Council can discuss funding, selling, or doing nothing at all.
