RECOMMENDATION
PRPL requests City Council's consent to accept and use donated funds from Partners For Parks. The total amount of donated funds is $9,800.51.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The funds will be utilized alongside of the CIP25 budget of $100,000.00 for North Park court improvements. Donated funds will be used to purchase additional park benches strategically placed around the court for park use. PRPL will handle the ordering of the benches when funds are approved for use. The color of the benches is still to be determined. The benches will be used by spectators and others waiting their turn on the courts.

FISCAL EFFECTS
These funds are a donation from Partners for Parks. The funds will be used alongside the CIP25-approved budget of 100K for North Park court improvements. PRPL does not expect to hire additional FTEs due to the added features. PRPL expects minimal costs increase for the maintenance of the benches. But with regular care and maintenance, PRPL expects the benches to exceed the manufacturer's life expectancy.
