RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council conduct a public hearing and approve the resolution setting the assessment for the Tourism Business Improvement District.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
The following annual assessment resolution has been completed by the Finance Department and the assessments are ready to be placed on the tax files.
Tourism Business Improvement District
The TBID assessment is $4 per rented room per night.

ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve; or,
- Not Approve and provide additional guidance to staff
- Amend and approve the resolution
FISCAL EFFECTS
The City of Billings acts as a pass-through of these assessments as approved by the elected body.
