BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
Partners for Parks (P4P) has utilized the PRPL matching grant program and has been awarded $18,000. In collaboration with P4P, PRPL will use the awarded $18,000 and donated $22,000 to purchase and install 7 new solar lights along the newly proposed Rose Park North Trail. PRPL has installed this particular light in several different locations in other parks. This trail will connect to the Rose Park Elementary School campus and will provide lighting for students and adults that may use the trail to get to school.
