PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
On June 27, 2011, the City Council approved selling lots 9-12, block 142 Original Townsite of Billings to Riverstone Health for $70,000. These four lots are located at the intersection of 1st Avenue South and South 25th Street. In order to complete the transaction and have a document for recording with the deed, the Council needs to adopt a Resolution that confirms its June 27 action.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The City Council may approve or not approve the resolution. Staff cannot complete the Council's earlier instruction to sell the property without the adopted Resolution
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The selling price is $70,000, which will be deposited in the Community Development fund and may be spent for eligible costs.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt a Resolution confirming the sale of lots 9-12, block 142 of the Original Townsite of Billings to Riverstone Health.
