PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
W.O. 10-30 is planned to add a right turn lane on the south leg of the intersection of Broadwater and 32nd Street West. The project entails rebuilding the southeast corner of the intersection as well as the east side of Broadwater Avenue for approximately 500 feet. The project was bid August 9, 2011. Two bids were received for the project. The low bidder is Riverside Sand and Gravel.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The Council may:
- Approve a contract with Riverside Sand and Gravel; or
- Reject all bids and do not approve a contract.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There were two bids received for the project:
The low bidder was Riverside Sand and Gravel. The funds for this project are included in the FY12 budget and are arterial funds.
