PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT

A street closure for the Magic City Blues Festival was approved at the January 23rd council meeting; however, a discrepancy in the closing time has been discovered. Council approved the street closure for 9:00 am Friday, August 10th, to 1:00 am Sunday, August 12th. The correct closing time should be 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 12th, and not 1:00 am.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED

The Council may:

• Approve the closing time change from 1 am to 1 pm on Sunday, August 12; or
• Deny the time change 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

None

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that Council approve the closing time change on the closure.
