Bids were received and evaluated on March 13, 2012 for W.O. 11-08 Water Treatment Plant (WTP) High Service Pump Station Transfer Pump H2 Replacement. The purpose of this project is to replace an aging pump and appurtenant equipment. The existing H2 Pump was installed in 1977. The new transfer pump capacity will be increased from 20 MGD to 25 MGD.  This project includes replacing the pump, discharge piping/valving, a motor control center, substation type transformer, and adding a 480 volt switchboard.

 The Council may:

• Award the contract for W.O. 11-08 to Ace Electric, Inc. in the amount of $815,000.00; or
• Reject all bids and do not award the contract for W.O. 11-08.

Funding for this project is from water revenues. The City received three bids for this project as follows:
