PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT

Claims in the amount of $1,178,080.73 have been audited and are presented for your approval for payment.  A complete listing of the claims dated October 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012 is on file in the Municipal Court.  Claims include payments to individual victims and businesses for restitution, disbursement of surcharges and revenues and return of bonds posted to ensure court appearance. 

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED

There are no other alternatives analyzed because state statute requires these disbursements.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that Council approve the Municipal Court Payment of Claims from October 2011 through March 2012.
