PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
SID 1382 will construct Colton Boulevard between Zimmerman Trail and 38th Street West. The project was bid on May 12th. City Council delayed bid award at the May 26, City Council meeting to allow time to sell the SID bonds. There were five bids for SID 1382 Colton Boulevard.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may:
- Approve the construction contract for SID 1382 Colton Boulevard with Wilson Brothers Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,121,906.50; or,
- Do not approve the construction contract. If the project is not approved, Colton Boulevard will not be constructed at this time.
FINANCIAL IMPACT

The costs of the Improvements are to be paid from Special Improvement District Bonds, cash contributions from property owners, water funds, storm drain funds, and gas tax funds.

RECOMMENDATION
