PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Work Order 15-27 will construct missing sidewalk along Parkhill Drive near 19th Street West and a bulb out school crossing at the intersection of Hoover Avenue and Colton Boulevard. There are many children walking to Rose Park school and there is no sidewalk currently on one side of Parkhill at 19th St W. Also, the school district has conveyed concern about the crossing on Colton Boulevard so this project will enhance that crossing for the children walking to Rose Park School. The project was bid on June 9, 2015, and three bids were received. HL Ostermiller Construction Inc. submitted the lowest responsible bid.
