This is an ERP replacement for the existing Tennant 8410 Sweeper/Scrubber at the Billings Operation Center (BOC).  The equipment is being purchased through a state cooperative contract, which is pre-competed. This machine is for use in the BOC large garage and shop areas to sweep and scrub floors.  This machine is also being shared at this time with the Parking Division, which will utilize the equipment on weekends to sweep and clean parking garage floors.

City Council may:

• Approve, or;
• Disapprove

Staff looked at various equipment and this is the one that best meets the needs of the large amount of mud and dirt that these areas produce..

This equipment was approved in the FY15 ERP and budgeted accordingly.  The vendor quoted this equipment to the City under WSCA Contract #1862 for $69,859.52.  Approximately $21,000 with be covered in the Parking Division and the remainder will be paid by users at the BOC.

Staff recommends approval of the purchase of this equipment for City use.
