PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
SID 1398, Mountain View Boulevard Street Improvements, is a project that will construct street and surface storm drainage improvements to the upper section of Mountain View Boulevard pursuant to the Special Improvement District (SID).that Council created on June 22, 2015.
The project was advertised on August 6th and August 13th in the Billings Times and on the City's Website. Bids were opened on August 18, 2015. As bids were opened after the Council packet was created, bid results and an award recommendation will be presented during the August 24th Council meeting.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
Alternatives will be analyzed after the August 18, 2015 bid opening and presented at the August 24th Council meeting.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The funding for this project is included in the approved budget for fiscal year 2015 and staff will request that Council approve a budget amendment to transfer the funding to FY 16. Gas Tax and SID funds will be used for this project.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff will present the bid award recommendation at the August 24th Council meeting.
