Bids were received for W.O. 09-02 Miscellaneous/Developer Related on April 27, 2010.  The project consists of curb, gutter, sidewalk, and storm drain improvements at various locations around the city. It consists of unfulfilled building permit obligations and the continuation of annual improvements that deal with tripping hazards, drainage problems, property owner requests, complaints, and other miscellaneous concrete work brought to the attention of the City Engineer's Office.

The Council may:
• Award the contract W.O. 09-02 to J&J Concrete, Inc. in the amount of $492,100.00; or 
• Reject all bids and do not award contract for W.O. 09-02

The City received four (4)  bids for this project as follows:

Remaining funds will be used for change orders, materials testing, and other administrative costs.

Staff recommends that Council award the bid for Work Order 09-02 Miscellaneous/Developer Related to J&J Concrete, Inc. in the amount of $492,100.00
